I'm trying to build for Linux/i386.
I was able to build for PCSL and CLDC lib. But facing problem while building MIDP lib's.
Is it possible to build for Linux/i386 ?
thanks for your interest for our product.
Yes, it is possible to build MIDP for Linux/i386.
What issues are you facing with?
Thanks for reply. I'm trying to build on Ubuntu in Scractbox for i386 environment.
I was able to build for PCSL and CLDC vm.
Debug version of CLDC was giving some problem so I builded for release version.
To build for MIDP, i move to InstallDir/midp/build/linux_fb_gcc as per build guide instructions. I coun't find 'Default.gmk' in this directory. So I used 'make all' .
I got following error while romizing .
... romizing skin
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Skin property "SCREEN_TEXT_ORIENT" has illegal ID value: ""
make: *** [/home/phoneme/output/midp_output/classes.zip] Error 1
A bit my analysis tells that merged.xml file is not getting generated as required by romization tool.
what is the way to turn of romization ?
Am I missing any settings ?
Just a wild guess: what version of JDK are you using? We do not support JDK version 1.5.x yet and I remember seeing problems similar to yours with it...
Thanks . it worked !!!
