I am using a Javascript debugger to try and debug a customized ibrowser component's javascript however the component.js file does not appear in the debugger. I'm assuming this is because it is loaded dynamically. Is there any way to debug these Javascript? I am using Firefox + the Javascript debugger extension.
Thanks

I'm using the Firefox 2 Javascript Venkman debugger and still cannot see the code. It only shows jmaki.js. How exactly are you debugging this using Firefox?

I use Firebug to do the Debugging.

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1843/

It's the only way to go for debugging.

The error messages are now being caught in a try catch block and being exposed in the component div where the error occurred.

The latest code including the jmaki.js can be found at:

Yes this is a problem which I have addressed in the most current release.

Here is the problem.

jMaki widgets are loaded as evaluated code and errors in that code are registered at the line where the code was evaluated + the line in the evaluated code.

The problem is fixed in jMaki version .6 which we have a preview of in the downloads section.

See:

I've only fixed this in Firefox and I would be very happy to have some suggestions on how to get IE to report better errors.

That said I've also put a great deal of work into the Ibrowser over the past week and it should be doing much better.

Great! When do you expect to fully release 0.6?
