[off-topic] 3D fractal flame animation - another new one

I put it in a zipfile because my browser kept downloading it as an avi

I'm trying to use mencoder, which works great for MPEG4 video (except the download extension)

But I'd rather post it in a format that works for everyone, so if you have any suggestions for a good freeware video encoder, I'd really appreceate it.
