Is there anyway to embed the RSS reader into an accordian? Basically, the XML for the accordian will have a unique RSS URL - This will be fetched into the content of each of the different accordian window.

The content of each section of the accordian is generated dynamically. How would the simple accordian handle this? With the advanced accordian, it just fetches an XML with all the content.

Correct. The accordion is tied very closely to a specific data model and the RSS reader uses JSON right now. Both options would take a little work though the best option will take a little looking in to.

Could you file an issue ticket at https://ajax.dev.java.net/issues/enter_bug.cgi?issue_type=ENHANCEMENT and will let someone get started on it?

Thank you,

There are two accordions and the with the plain one it would be easier to do though you would have to manually create a new composite widget using the Plain Spry and the RSS reader widgets. You can do this by combining the template component.htm and the Rss component.htm and by combining the component.js. This is not overly complicated but it's not too trival. Currently, jMaki does not support putting one jMaki tag inside another though we are considering changing this restriction. Would you like to take a try at creating the widget or would you like to have us create one for you?

It would be great if you can show me how it's done. I'm assuming that I could simply merge the simple accordian component.htm into the RSS reader's. do I need to create a new component or simply change the teample of the RSS reader?
Many thanks for your help,
Jean
