Dear jai_imageio interest, dear jhove-users,
Brian,

I am happy to tell you, that the writing of TIFF directories with jai_imageio
1.1 daily build from October 3rd correctly produces no "value is not
word-aligned"-errors anymore, validated by JHOVE. The TIFF ASCII values seem
to be written correctly now and there are also no errors concerning the
word-alignedness of the TIFF IFDs anymore.

Thank you very much for that improvement of the jai_imageio lib!

I have tested the windows lib on a windows machine and the linux lib on a mac
(power book g4). Both libs are writing TIFF ASCII tags with fine manners. We
are looking forward to download the next stable build :)

Many thanks,
Stefan.

Stefan,

Thank you for taking the time to test the fix for this problem in the current
build and for reporting your findings. It is ideal when we are able to confirm
a fix in an actual application environment. This is also of assistance of
other users of the software.

Regards,

Brian
