Hi!

I have downloaded and installed the JMaki plugin for NetBeans. Following the documentation and the screencast (https://ajax.dev.java.net/screencast/jMakiDemo.html) I have created a new Web Application with NetBeans 5 and I have choose JMaki Project Library Framework.. All work!

But when I have created another application with together JMaki and Struts Frameworks I have encountered an error because there is a conflict in "web.xml" file that NetBeans produce.. There are 2 servlet ("Struts Action" and "JMaki Controller Servlet") with the *.do extension and so when I build a actionForm I have a "405 Status error: the url is unable to process the POST request"..

My web.xml look like this:
...

jMaki Controller Servlet
com.sun.jmaki.JmakiController
2

action
org.apache.struts.action.ActionServlet

...

action
*.do

jMaki Controller Servlet
*.do

...

I have change the url pattern for "jMaki Controller Servlet" from *.do to *.jm and struts now work..

MY QUESTION IS where is used the "jMaki Controller Servlet" in the JMaki framework??
How can I solve my problem??

THANKS!

This is definately a bug and it will get fixed. The controller for jMaki is only part of the sample application and the runtime will run without it. In version .5 which we hope to release this week we will be removing references to the controller.

Is it possible for you to provide the jmaki(v.5) + struts sample app ?

Thanks,
Ravi.

We have someone working on that but if you have anything in mind we are all ears. Look for a tutorial soon.
