[JAI-IMAGEIO] some .bmp to .jp2

HI,

Is it able to do this in current jai & imageio implementation :
1. break a large .bmp file to smaller .bmp files
2. compress each .bmp files to .jp2
3. create one large .jp2 files create from step #2

No problem with step #1. But what about step #2 and #3 ? Is it feasible?
Or perhaps I better use the jj2000 program (http://jj2000.epfl.ch) ?

Please enlight me...

You could do all that but what's the point? ;-)

I guess I just continue reading the documentation.. :D
but perhaps you could give me some hints..? ;-)

My final purpose is to make some comparation study of doing this in a
single computer and in a distributed system, using job scheduler like
Sun Grid Engine or Condor.
