hi,
i need some hints to plot a 3-axes-Chart based on a data-File. I must port a matlab-GUI to java. I think this is unless the 3-axes-data-plotting no problem.
Does anybody know a good (free) library for this task?
I searched a lot, but either there is only 2-axes possible or it is clear to much (like the vtk-Projekt).

thx a lot

have you tried http://www.kluid.com for this?

As far I know matlab comes with all the lib.s and when you compile your matlab gui they are embedded by default.

In matlab command for 3d axis is : plot3d

hi,
thx for the hint. I found this lib too. But there is one big problem with this:
the user-guide isn't free and the examples shows no 3-axis-plotting. In the javadoc of this lib i found things like XYZDataset. So it may be, thats the lib can help me to solve my task.

But before i'll buy this guide, i must be sure, that this lib provides what i need.

Do you have some expirience with this?
