Should we just stop using one or the other? I just noticed a few hours
ago that I am missing the really exciting stuff on the closures thread
on the forum...seriously, this is an ongoing problem, maybe we should

we had more than half a year of relative smooth working, it should be
possible (the collab folks should do it, they are triggered but can't
judge to which extend they'll prioritize) to track down which change
introduced the current instability.

Well, a quick search of my email shows reports on Aug 17, Aug 28, Sept
1st and today. That's four times in less than a month.

If the feature doesn't work, or isn't reliable, let's not use it.
