Eclipse IDE?

Any feedback is appreciated.

hi,
login to the admin console (localhost:4848), click on "Application Server" in the left menue, click on "JVM Settings", check "Debug", change port if you like ("Debug options", assign other port to param "address").
Restart server.
Create new Remote Debug Config in eclipse ("Debug...", "Remote Java Application"). Name it as you wish and tell it to connect to localhost with port 9009 (or your port specified).
Start debug-configuration, eclipse should now connect.
Happy debugging!! ;)

Oh my...

Thank you so much. Had several configuration problems and you post helped me a lot to sort this out.

The paths to those options were slightly different for me :
- Configuration -> something-config -> JVM settings
and
- Run -> Debug Configurations ti find "Remote Java Application"

Thanks again.
