Hello All,

GlassFish v2, introduces software based HTTP Load Balancer. As a core functionality it provides support to, policy based, load balance HTTP requests across cluster/group of Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 (GlassFish v2) instances.

Please provide your feedback/comments on the proposed enhancements to Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 (GlassFish v2) HTTP Load Balancer. The document enlisting these enhancements is made available at:-
http://www.glassfishwiki.org/gfwiki/attach/OnePagersOrFunctionalSpecs/LB...

Feedback/review period closes 2 weeks from today.

Any comments received after that would not be considered
for this release (GlassFish v2).

regards
Pankaj Jairath.

Is this the reason that Glassfish fails to install on AMD 64 bit machine? Please refer to this thread for more info: http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=17639&tstart=45

thanks,

Pramod.

I could not relate your inputs to the One Pager of Load Balancer. If you meant about the 64bit platform support and it's relation to the issue mentioned then, do note the creation of domain is independent of Load Balancer installation.
Load Balancer installation and setup is manually done subsequent to GlassFish installation.

I assumed that clusterring and load balancer support are inter-related at implementation level, and that both are not supported on 64 bit if one is not. I guess the mentioning of the two things in the original message and one pager together confused me. Note that I am having problem in installing latest glassfish v2 in cluster mode on 64 bit system.

sorry for the confusion,

Pramod.
