Hi,
it seems JDK 6 don't yet support the deletion of ZipEntry directly from a java.util.zip class ... why not supported this feature ?

.NET (namespace System.Internal.IO.Zip) support a wide range of methods to manipulate zip file. It's a shame that Java only have a basic support to read/extract/add entries ... it's too hight level

Am I waiting for JDK 7 or create a new library of my own ?

Thanks for your answer

You're right, this is not possible in Java 6. It's been proposed for Java 7. If you're really keen on it, you might examine (and even vote for) 4129445:
