Is the purpose of the AjaxWrapperPhaseListener to allow interaction of Ajax components with JSF based backing bean?
With the jMaki Dojo ComboBox example, what do the ControllerServlet.class files in dojo.jar do? I tried using the Dojo ComboBox in my application by implementing a ("backing") bean on the server and defining a method in the bean to return some data in the JSON syntax. The method is being called, but the data is not being updated in the combobox. Is there something else that I need to do?
Thank you! :)
Yes this is the puprose. The AjaxWrapperPhaseListener also provides a way for you to load resources from the classpath and it also provides a handler interface for writting AJAX processing logic. This can be seen in the JSF component version of the Dojo Combobox today.
Thanks for your reply. IS there any documentation on AjaxWrapperPhaseListener? On a separate note, is there anyway to render a jsf view inside an ajax component such as a resizable text area?
I have not documented the AjaxWrapperPhaseListener as of yet. I will add it to the list. If you have a chance look at the Dojo Combobox example and under the jmaki_root/ws/jmaki/widgets/dojo/src/java directory where I have an implementation of this or see https://ajax.dev.java.net/source/browse/*checkout*/ajax/ws/jmaki/widgets...
Right now for the resizable text area I think it might be better not have a sub component but rather make the value of the text area a value binding which should get you the same results. I will get to work on this.
