Hi LG3Ders,

The candidates are available for supported platforms (Linux x86, Linux AMD64, Solaris x86 and Windows)!

One of major improvements is introduction of Mega-bundles that include everything you need to install to run LG3D. This should make the installation procedure far simpler. The Getting Started Guide is updated to take advantage of it.

Please help us to test RC1, as well as find any errors in the updated installation instructions. Read the following instructions to find out where to locate and how to install RC1:

For Linux/Solaris users:
https://lg3d.dev.java.net/lg3d-getting-started.html

For Windows users:
https://lg3d.dev.java.net/lg3d-on-windows.html

Bug feedback is due at 8:00am PDT on Monday (6/26) (NOTE we extended the due time to include the weekend). We'll spin RC2 if needed (based on how good/bad the RC1 is).

This time, one of our focuses is achieve far better stability. Please try to use RC1 for longer period than usual. Try to perform some of your daily activities from inside LG3D (e.g. keep the app mode window open for a day and switch to it to browse the web, send email, etc.)

Also, we are updating requirements info to run LG3D. Your feedback to the following thread would be much appreciated (thanks, onkarshinde, for starting the thread!):

Thanks always for your support and contributions!

I thought that you meant so, but I tested the Linux x86 Mega-bundle and see the updated image for the Lg3dHelp app. Which bundle are you testing?
