Hi everyone,

OpenEXR
http://www.openexr.com/

is a cool format of high dynamic-range image. I hope that JAI will support it. What do you think about this idea?

You might also want to check out the hdr-codec project on java.net:

https://hdr-codec.dev.java.net/

It currently loads PFM and Radiance format images using the com.sun.media.jai.codec package model.

I think that you file an enhancement issue here

https://jai-imageio-core.dev.java.net/issues/enter_bug.cgi?issue_type=EN...

so that project members may vote for it and so that it may be tracked.
