Hi, here is my problem.
When I start the Netbeans 5.0 IDE, i get the following exception:

org.netbeans.mdr.persistence.StorageBadRequestException: Record with key 66666666-6666-6666-6666-666666666666:00000000000006C1 already exists

So the IDE start, but when I try to create any class using the netbeans wizard for that action, the wizard get stuck.
I´m running Netbeans on a Windows 98 system (I have several copies of Netbeans running on Windows 98 without problems, this problem is happening only in a few machines).
Does anybody here knows what is going on?

Probably a corrupted MDR cache.

Try deleting the ".netbeans\5.0\var\cache\mdrstorage" folder, then start NetBeans 5.0 again.

I already tried that, but for some reason, the problem is still there.

What could be trashing this file?

Personally I think something else is going wrong - I don't like that record key at all. Not with the 6's, but the fact that it doesn't look random at all.

What modules have you installed on top of the IDE?

I have installed just the standard configuration.
Could it be a bug on some of the default modules?

Not sure - try filing an issue on:

http://www.netbeans.org/community/issues.html
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi

Against the category MDR. You should be able to get more help there ;)
