Java Webstart, multiple shortcuts per JNLP file

I'd like to create a JNLP descriptor for my application such that upon installation two shortcuts will be added:

1) Shortcut to "my_application" on the desktop

2) Shortcut to "my_application -silent" in the OS startup folder.

Currently, there is no way to add two shortcuts per JNLP with different command-lines. I filed a RFE with Sun but was told there are no plans to add support for this in the future because you could simulate it by having two separate JNLP files.

I am looking for a Sun engineer to please suggest a workaround for this problem.

- I want to install both shortcuts using a single-click installation. The user should not have to run two separate installers per application.

- I need different command-lines for the desktop shortcut and startup shortcut because on bootup I want the application to start up silently (no popups) whereas if the application is run manually by the user, I pop up a window into the foreground.

How can I make this work?

Thank you,
