Stable build 1.5.0-build2 is now available.

There have been only a couple of bug fixes since build1, but we wanted to do a stable build for JavaOne.

Hi,

Could you confirm the exact CVS tag/branch to check out the latest 1.5.0-build2 ? The reason I ask is that there currently appear to be 3 possible tags/branches, based on their names:

Branch: dev-1_5
Non-branch tag: root-1_5
Non-branch tag: exp-1_5_0-build2

I presume it's the last one, giving the following commands. Is this correct?

$ cvs -d :pserver:guest@cvs.dev.java.net:/cvs checkout -r exp-1_5_0-build2 j3d-core
$ cvs -d :pserver:guest@cvs.dev.java.net:/cvs checkout -r exp-1_5_0-build2 j3d-core-utils
$ cvs -d :pserver:guest@cvs.dev.java.net:/cvs checkout -r exp-1_5_0-build2 vecmath

(Oh, and smiley = colon p)

Thanks,
Gareth

Answer is: -r dev-1_5

Thanks to "kcr" for pointing me (in Issue 268) to this page describing the CVS tags in use in the project:

https://java3d.dev.java.net/cvs-tags.html

(It's a bit buried in the main index so I hadn't seen it before.)

Would it be possible to get a small writeup of what has changed between
each of these pre-release builds? It would make it easier to track just
what has been added or changed to know when to dive in an test or play
with something new.

Sure, we could generate a list of bugs fixed and other interesting changes. We'll post something in the next day or so.
