hello
i followed all instructions in facelets documentation:
Facelets - JavaServer Faces View Definition Framework
Developer Documentation
Jacob Hookom

but i have this error :
javax.servlet.ServletException: Undefined component type javax.faces.ViewRoot
can you please tell me what's the probleme in order to fix it.

i'm interested in creating custom UI Components using jsf/facelets , so please if you have any simple example send it me or give me just links .

yes this jar is in place , but no way , the probleme still there.

PLZ do you have any tutorial to help me to create components using facelets , even examples

Is the jsp-api.jar in your classpath? That might be the problem if it is not.
