Java 6 client and Java 5 server

I just tried one of our clients running java 6 (a webstart client) against one of our servers running java 5. Logging on takes 93 seconds during the 1st RMI communication opposed to 1 second normally.

Is there a known bug here? We do plan on upgrading our servers to java 6 when our clients go to java 6 as well, but this is kinda concerning at least now.

I noticed I was on beta 1 b66. So I just got beta2 b77 and there is no delay any longer! :) Also love some of the improvements I see.

I did notice SwingUtilites2 was gone/refactored which broke a 3rd party library.

We did in fact remove SwingUtilitites2. Here's the javadoc that was in this file:

* WARNING: While this class is public, it should not be treated as
* public API and its API may change in incompatable ways between dot dot
* releases and even patch releases. You should not rely on this class even
* existing.

So it should come as no surprise that we removed it.
