Autodeploy and custom http-listeners

Hello,

I'm using Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 8.1_02 (build b06-fcs) on a debian box.

I've got an Ant script that builds the WAR and scp's it to the domains/domain1/autodeploy directory.

The autodeploy feature seems to work 90% of the time when I'm using one of http-listener-1 or -2 (with or without an associated virtual host). But when I use an custom http-listener (one I've added), the autodeploy feature does not seem to be working at all.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, anyone have any suggestions.

I have noticed some other folks have been having issues with putting non-trivial applications into the autodeploy directory...

You may want to consider using asadmin deploydir and dynamic reload.

Take a look at this article for some pointers: http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/appserver/reference/techart/deploymen...

You may want to ask this question over in the a forum which is "dedicated" to SJSAS 8.x.
