JavaHelp Search Engine

I'd like to understand how the search engine works to make an extension to its work. Is there any possibilities to have the source or any document like SDD that deals with.
Thanks for your answers

If you remember my previous post on Dynamic HTML text modification
accessible here : http://archives.java.sun.com/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0512&L=javahelp-interest&F...

The solution was to extend the work of the BasicConctentViewerUI.
It's done and works.

My purpose is now to do the same things with the Search engine.

Example:

---> index.html

...

a piece of code
ValueConst.properties!state.label <---- Remplacement zones
rest of code

---> ValueConst.properties
....
state.label = google

------
What I want to do is that the value of the replacement zone is used (i.e google) and not the text contained in the SAMP tag.

I think that I have to overide the work of the Search Engine but I don't know how to do it.

That's why I asked for the source code. If it's impossible, I only need some piece of SDD or Algorithms...

Thanks,
Francois

Sources for the search engine are not available. Exactly what is it you
want to do?
