We can help if we know you env:
wtp version? 1.0 or some early access wtp1.0.1 ?
Eclipse 3.1?
which OS?
Which GlassFish build?
Can you start the domain from outside Eclipse (via the asadmin start-domain
command?
We are very close to update the plugin to workaround some issues found on Linux with wtp 1.0.

Let us know.

Hi ludo,My env:
wtp version: wtp-sdk-M200602010238.zip
OS: WinXp 2 Chinese simplified.
GlashFish : glassfish-installer-9.0-b36.jar
Eclipse version : 3.1.2
GlassFish can start the domain from outside Eclipse.

Thanks!
So you are both using leading edge Eclipse and WTP builds, and on a chinese system :-)
It would be good to tests things one by one.
Could you try eclispe 3.1 and WTP 1.0 on this system, and report issues on this config if any? We need to know what is the root cause of this message.
WTP is under heavy fixes from 1.0 and still not stable enough...

Hi,ludo,Thanks for your suggest.Now if I using Follow env:
-> Eclipse 3.1.2
-> wtp 1.0
and install glassfish plugin direct to eclipse path,then started eclipse ide and found 'Sun Microsystems' server type in the 'new server' windows,can start glassfish server in eclipse ide.

But if I use the same env and installed glassfish plugin via link way(like myeclipse install),then started eclipse and NOT found 'Sun Microsystems' server type in the 'new server' windows.It seems like Glassfish plugin DO NOT support the link's install.
Because there are lots of eclipse plugin,so I generally install plugins via the link way.

I am not sure, but would not this be related to the WTP issue described under
http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t63449.html

?
Is it this a 'link way'? If it is, then WTP 1.0 does not seem to nicely work with 'external locations'

Let us know...
