Hello!

I suppose that if I would like to use video API within LG, I then should use Java Media Framework, but JMF currently, as far as I know, does not support things like setting brightness/contrast etc. of a camera under Linux. What if these would be needed? Is there another way of accessing video devices, i. e. native C methods thas use video for linux, that could be used in LG?

I have just found that LG uses Java 1.5, J3D and JAI,
so it look it is probably impossible to use video
input for LG interface at all now?

There is a demo of Java 3D and JMF working together to render video onto a texture. I don't remember where the code is but a quick search of the j3d-interest archive should point you in the right direction.

Thanks! By the way, I have found that changing some of the camera settings in an external application and then using the camera with JMF with the changed settings can also work, at least with my cam.
