Installing JRE 1.4 without JAWS

I am working with Primavera which installs the JRE from the browser. However, since admin rights are required for the installation, I want to have the JRE installed from a bat file when I install the application through an unattended set up, but I don't want the Java Web Start installed. I read the Readme.txt which states JAWS is optional and can be omitted from distribution, but how do I do it? Do I run the JRE in silent mode?

There is no way to not install javaws with the jre. If you want to disable the javaws desktop icon in 1.4.2, you can pass the WEBSTARTICON=0 to the jre installer.

There aren't any javaws shortcuts installed with the 5.0 jre and later.
