JWS and Pack200, how to use

Hello,

the Pack200 compression sounds really good and my app with all libs is now ~10MB from ~21MB. It would be great, if I could just use the compressed Jars for downloading and running (?) the app. Is this possible? I tried to just reference xyz.jar.pack.gz files in the JNLP file, but that did not work. Leaving out the ".pack.gz" does not work, too.
So is this just a lib for compressing jars, but all is left to the developer? Or does anything work automatically (in J1.5)?

Thank you!

Have you normalized the jar file before signing it?
If not then the signiture will be invalidated by the compression.
