[JAI] subsampleaverage fixed

Hi,

I received notification that the subsampleaverage bug would have been
fixed (http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4857245). I
would like to know what would be the easiest way to patch my current JAI
jar. Which classes do I have to compile? Are there any additional C
source files that I have to compile?

thanks,

I successfully compiled the cvs version and was pleasantly surprised how
easy that went :)

Matthias,

Until the JAI 1.1.3-alpha bundles are released on java.sun.com you will have
to checkout the jai-core project from the java.net CVS repository and build
the jar files yourself. The resulting jar and shared object content should be
identical to that which will be released on java.sun.com aside from the fact
that you built it yourself.

The fix was in a Java superclass common to both the Java and native
implementations so there is no native code compilation required.
