[JAI] CVS tag and binary 1_1_2_01 distro

I've downloaded the JDK distribution of JAI (jai-1_1_2_01-lib-linux-
i586-jdk.bin) and the source code from cvs (tag jai-1_1_2_01-fcs),
however when I debug the code, the source appears to be out of sync with
the binary - e.g. line numbers in exceptions sometimes reference
javadoc! Is there a chance that this CVS tag doesn't correspond exactly
to this binary linux distro?

Thanks,

Jason

As far as we know the jai-1_1_2_01-fcs CVS source corresponds to the 1.1.2_01
distribution available on java.sun.com.

Actually the source from the CVS tree with the jai-1_1_2_01-fcs tag will
seem to be out of sync with the official JAI 1.1.2_01 binary, but that's
not because anything in the source code itself was changed. Rather the
legal headers that go in at the beginning of each source file were
changed for the CVS source, and this will ofcourse introduce line number
discrepancy.

Your best bet might be to build the jai-1_1_2_01-fcs CVS tree and use
that in your debugging or other activities that require exact line
number correspondence.
