Hi Bryan i had looked this topics and another ones for example this code
//JAI CODE
RenderedImage imagen = JAI.create("fileload", filename);

//code with Graphics for increase and decrease bright

float[] brightKernel = {multiple};
BufferedImageOp bright
= new ConvolveOp(
new Kernel(1, 1, brightKernel));
bright.filter(originalImage, convolvedImage);
repaint();
//where originalImage and convolvedImage are BufferedImage.

make a filter for the brigth (using convolution of 2 photos)

the problem is that BufferedImage is not compatible with any JAI component (is that true?) or how can i use RendererImage with BufferedImage, or how can i get the image from the REnderImage so then i converted to BufferImage. or what solution can you give

Because i open a image using jai
