What about JSR-227 for databinding ?

Hi,

I just came across JDNC and thus did not have the chance to read through all the documentation and sources posted on this website, or even to get involved.

However, I read the posts on databinding and am wondering what about JSR-227? I know that JSR-227 is not there yet and JDNC must do progress, but using its own databinding will always have Swing development look different.

Honestly, I was hoping 227 would have at least their public draft
by now - it's been about a year since Oracle filed the JSR.
Stale JSRs are not uncommon, though they are frustrating, especially
when they are in such an important/needed area.

We need to move forward with something for JDNC regardless of 227.
If 227 gains inertia and produces something, then we should of course
consider adopting it in place of whatever we come up with. I'm not
holding my breath :-)
