Adventure Builder Bug
There appears to be a bug in the new Adventure Builder demo application:
Start Adventure Builder;
Select a package (any will do);
Single click on the main price field in the right hand pane (i.e. not the price in the Activities table);
Single click into the Location field above.
The contents of Price disappear. Now, if I enter a value into Price, say 1234 and cause the field to lose focus (either by clicking into another field or tabbing) the value is formatted nicely to my locale.
Select a different package from the left;
The Price field will show the appropriate value for the selected package;
Click into Price again, and then into Location;
Price is then set to the value that I last entered - 1234.
I've only just started using JDNC so I can't tell if this is a bug in the application itself or if there is something wrong in JDNC itself.
In addition to field blanking outlined above:
Why are numeric fields not formatted until an edit has taken place?
Is it possible for edits to be finalised on the user hitting the Enter key to (rather than just on the field losing focus)?
I'm sure these points only require some minor tweaks to the application, but I'm hoping to use these apps to demo the initial capabilities of JDNC to my peers and these are just the sorts of things that will get noticed. Also, a more substantial app that demonstrates the login process and navigation between a couple of forms would be very useful in showing off a broader set of the JDNC capabilities and how a more realistic application may hang together.
The JDNC looks like it's starting to take shape nicely and I look forward to working with a lot more.
