Is there anyway I can make my jdic jnlp application run on startup for users of java web start 1.4.x?

Hi,

You can try to add command line:
javaws
as a startup command of the system.

For example, add "javaws http://javadesktop.org/jdic/demo/Browser/browser.jnlp" as a shortcut to Start -> Program -> Startup menu on Windows.
