[JAVAHELP] JavaHelp V2.0 is now available

The JavaHelp development team is pleased to announce the availability of
JavaHelp V2.0 at:

This release is full and complying implementation of JSR-97 and includes
the following new features:

- Improved merging including new mergtypes in views and view
data

- Server based help for enterprise based applications

- Secondary Windows and Popups now available for each of 6
help activation types

- Dynamic Context Sensitive Help for dynamic setting of a help
ID for a given component

- Toolbar configuration

- Presentation conrols for window size, location; navigator
entry's intial state; custom navigator icons or navigator text

- Favorites and Glossary navigators

- History tracking of content pages

- Multi page printing

This release is full release and is intended to fully replace prior
releases of JavaHelp. Before installing this release it is necessary to
remove installations of JavaHelp V1.1.2 or earlier. V2.0 can coexist
with V1.1.3

This release contains a single zip file installation. Installation
requires a Java 2 JDK/JRE be installed. Unzipping the zip file will
install JavaHelp V2.0.

Additonally there are three help authoring tool vendors that have
notifiied us of their V2.0 support. I've included their messages below.

Helen 1.5, totally focused on JavaHelp, now supports JavaHelp 2.0.

Solutionsoft has announced that version 3.0 of its
JavaHelp authoring tool, HelpBreeze JavaHelp Edition,
now supports JavaHelp 2.0. HelpBreeze is a complete
visual authoring system and will automatically handle
the creation and maintenance of all the files required
by JavaHelp. With HelpBreeze, authors can create a
JavaHelp system, plain HTML documentation for a
website/intranet and printed documentation all from
the same source files. Version 3.0 offers dozens of
new features and improvements, including support for
targeting both JavaHelp 2.0 and 1.0x. New JavaHelp 2.0
features such as the glossary and favorites views and
presentations are fully supported by HelpBreeze. The
final release of HelpBreeze JavaHelp Edition 3.0 will
ship in September, 2003. A fully functional
pre-release copy can be downloaded now from

JawaHelpAuthor 1.2, support JavaHelp2.0, is available

JawaHelpAuthor help you to create JavaHelp system from existing HTML
topic files. It's a good WYSWYG editor for helpset file. It separates
helpset file data into three parts - info, toolbar and tabs. It provides
a powerful and utilitarian table of content and index editor, a GUI
interface of jhindexer command for creating full-text search database.
