[JAVAHELP] Launching multiple helpsets from within another helpset

Hello All,

I'm trying to find out whether it is possible to have a JavaHelp file from
which I could link to other JavaHelp files. Can I create links in the HTML
topic files that link to a .jar or .hs file? I've been given a requirement
of linking to multiple help files from a single point of access and am not
sure that this is possible.

Thanks for your help,
Alan

Generally speaking no you can't do it. You could refer to a direct link,
but that wouldn't work if the installation location of the HelpSet file
changes. One alternative would be to create a light-weight component
that refers to another ID in another helpset. That helpset could be in a
merged or unmerged state (not so sure about the later). It's not
something we provide but it is technically possible.
