Collapse and expanded tree

Maybe this is a beginner question.
I have an application that always opens javahelp with the content tree
expanded. I want to open it in collapsed way. Is this a property of the JS
or the applicaction?
How can I do it?

In V2.0 you can specifically set which items you want opened or closed
at the item level. I don't remember the attribute off the top of my head
but look at the JavaHelp User's Guide or the specification for details.

In JavaHelp version 2, you can specify that a be closed when the
helpset is opened by setting the 's "expand" attribute to "false".
