Yeah but it should work. File a bug report.

Actually, excluding that parameter originally helped. Since then, I have
updated the presentation tag in the .hs file to have quotes around the
attribute values. And now I just tried adding "viewerStyle" back, and it
doesn't cause a problem.

Never mind. I got it working, but I had to remove

Patrick,

I was able to get the

code to work in generic JavaHelp 2.0_01 (not JavaHelp run through Netbeans) with the viewerStyle param. I'm wondering what's different--were you running the help through Netbeans? Here's the code I used: 1. In the .hs file, I defined a secondary window as follows: secondary window My Secondary Window tip_gif 2. In the topic file, I used the following code to open one of my existing help topics in the secondary window defined above:

One thing I did notice that I think might be a bug--if I don't specify
viewerLocation in the

tag, the window doesn't pick up the location defined in the helpset presentation. (There's no bug with the size--if I don't define viewerSize, the window does pick up the size defined in the helpset presentation.) --Paul At 11:52 AM 9/21/2004, Patrick Keegan wrote: >Patrick Keegan wrote: > >>These steps don't completely work for me.
