Too many triangles??

hi!

I load a map manually with TriangleArray/Shape3D. The map is built with about 19000 triangles.

When I add houses and trees so it goes up to about 22000 triangles it isn't visible. Just as if java3d or the gfx hardware refused to dispay scenes with ~20000+ triangles!

Lowering clipping range does not help!

Is there any such limit? Are there any settings for this?

that might be my problem!

I'm a bit new to java3d.

I just cant understand what it means! I just have a large TriangleArray object with a lot of triangles.. are there really bounding boxes?!

could you be a bit more specific or point me to a nice document? (I have read the sun java3d pdf tutorial)

20.000 triangles is pretty low. There must be something wrong with your code. Make a test case.
