RE: [JAVA3D-INTEREST] Java 3D Web Start Release

1 reply [Last post]

I added the ability to run my java3d game (CazaPool3D) with the new jnlp

Everything is ok beside the fact that when I click on the jnlp link file
It opens in the browser instead of executing it.
When I take the link and add it to JWS application on my desktop, it works

I tried to play with file attribute without success...

Any idea how to fix this issue?

Subject: [JAVA3D-INTEREST] Java 3D Web Start Release

The Java 3D Web Start release for version 1.3.1 (_01) is now
available on

See the "Java 3D Web Start Release" page for information
about accessing the releases.

We have released "latest", "1.3-latest", and "1.3.1" JNLP

Release notes:

1. This is the OpenGL version only. When we post a 1.3.2
build, the DirectX version will be part of that release (selectable via a
system property).

2. The caching bug that causes WebStart to load Java 3D once
per application is still present. The folks are working on it.

Let us know if anything doesn't work for you.

The server has to be configured to support the JNLP MIME type.

If you have a SourceForge project, you could use that server bc. I know its configured correctly.
