[JAVA3D-INTEREST] help on first java 3d program

Hello,
I've gone through the tutorial from sun and for my first program
decided to join 2 examples on an aplet.

I took a keyb navigation with a colorcube and replaced the colorcube
with the result from loading a wrl with the VRML loader.

I debugged the program and saw that the loader loads the coords right,
but I see nothing on the screen. (tried with other loaders too).

I believe I'm missing a bounds setting or something of that sort. Is
there something I should check first?

regards
Gonzalo

pd: I'm not sure if this is a j3d user or developer list or
both...pardon me if my problem is inappropriate for this forum.

Hello,

Most of the time the problem is related to the clipping plane position. I
would check this first. Make sure the view is set to VIRTUAL_WORLD clipping
mode for the front and back planes and make sure the planes are in the
correct positions for the object that you are trying to view.
