Java3D Bones and Character Animation

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could point me in the correct direction for a character animation library that will work with Java3D, something similar to cal3d that can be used with Java 3D? I have a friend that has created a character in blender and wishes to load it into a java application and animate it using bones. The bit of searching I have done so far has not turned up much on the internet and I thought this would be a great place to get some pointers.

Thanks, Brendon.

Just to clarify: The j3d.org code doesn't have a Java3D version yet.
There's the base system, and one for Aviatrix3D. Haven't had the cycles
yet to layer the Java3D version over the top.

mathematical formulae and thus, should not be patentable.

There is one by me and one on j3d.org.

J3d.org is better supported although I am a very cool guy ;)

Cheers,

Silvere.

There's one more at https://skinandbones.dev.java.net/, although
currently the exporter only works for Maya.
