AccessControlException: access denied ??!!

Hi all

A bit of an emergency! For some reason unknown to me I am getting AccessControlExceptions when trying to run my applets through a browser. Even applets that have been working for some time now all of a suddeb throw this exception. When I test the applets in Netbeans they work without any problems, but when I want to run the html file that NB generates, I get the exception. Could it be an update to jre 1.5.0.x that I am not aware of?

Firstly, I'm using Inspector3D (Starfire) to load a number of 3DS meshes, and then I'm loading images from disk to paint onto the canvas3D. As I said, testing from the IDE works fine, but any attempt to view the applets in a browser fails.

At this stage I am not even a little interested in why it happens. All I need to know what to do to fix it...and quickly. I don't want to sound melodramatic, but my job is virtually on the line here. We're doing a BIG proposal and I have already taken a risk with replacing the 3D viewer software that we've been using (Cult3D) with j3d. This stupid problem is wasting valuable time.

Help. SOS. Mayday. Houston, we have a problem. Emergency.

Strictly speaking that`s not a j3d issue.
