When will OpenGL be part of J2SE download?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I want to use OpenGL with Java. Yes I know there are Java bindings such as JOGL and Java3D but I want something that can work with what is installed from the J2SE installation.

I really don't want to have to install platform dependant libraries and/or bindings myself.

Java3d is not an option as I'm not impressed with it as an API and I don't need a high-level scenegraph.

If it's not available now, any ideas if Sun are planning to add this as part of the standard install. It seems such a logical thing to do as there are so many OpenGL programmers out there (like myself) who already have an API they are happy with. It runs on almost every OS now but it would be fine as an option package.

Thanks,

Richard

P.S. I'd be happy to use JOGL if Sun did plan make it part of the standard Java downloads.
