hi,
I am trying to use the xs:any wildcard.
I have a doubt related to this.
If I insert a XML and in the xs:any node and then when I get that using the getAny function that is created I get an Object type, please let me know what will be content of the Object will be a XML or DOM document or something else.

Please let me know if I have confused you and you need more information.

Thanks.

It depends on @XmlAnyElement.lax()

For lax=true, Object can be a mixture of JAXB-bound objects and DOM elements. Those elements that have corresponding type definitions in schema will become JAXB objects.

Otherwise, it will all be just DOM elements.

If you are compiling your schema, I think will generate lax=false, but otherwise lax is true.
