Health!

I was trying to compile mustang and I got this message:

--------
/mnt/disco2Gb/sys/builds/mustang/hotspot/src/share/vm/opto/compile.hpp:390:
warning: inline
function `Node_Notes* Compile::locate_node_notes(GrowableArray*, int, bool)' used but never defined
--------

I removed -Werror from gcc.make to bypass this warning but probably is not the solution (I suppose it will link...), probably must be included the node.hpp which defines the method???... or to be defined directly on compile.hpp ? I am new with this things and I don't know what's the best.

Thanks.

Can you paste in the output of "gcc --version"? One possibility is this is gcc 4.0.0 or 4.0.1. In b63 there will updates to allow hotspot build on Fedora with gcc 4.0.x. If you are building a pre-b63 snapshot you might want to grab the latest snapshot to see if that compiles for you.

Thanks for your response. Gcc version of my fedora is:

- gcc (GCC) 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)

But I will try to build with a RHEL with gcc version:

- gcc (GCC) 3.4.3 20041212 (Red Hat 3.4.3-9.EL4)

because i've got a crash executing the "test_gamma" of the "linux_i486_compiler2".

Thanks for your help.
