Hi Friends,
Recently I downloaded the latest version of NetBeans IDE. I could not able to register JBOSS 4 Application Server. Here are the steps which I had follwed.
1. Run NetBeans IDE.
2. Click on Runtime.
3. Right Click on Server > AddServer.
4. AddServer Instance window you will get.
5. Select JBoss Application Server 4.0.3 from Server list menu.
6. Click on next.
7. Installation Location.

My problem starts here. I dont know what location I have to give. Can any one of you guide me to over come from this confusion.

Thanks and Regards,
immu.

Hi,
This forum is for the GlassFish Server, not at all for the JBoss server... I encourage you to try GlassFish which already has an excellent support in NetBeans (EE 5 branch build)
Meanwhile, for JBoss/NetBeans issues, the best options are to use netbeans mailing lists (nbusers@netbeans.org) or nbj2ee@netbeans.org .
Thanks,
Ludo

There is also a "JBoss and NetBeans" forum on the JBoss site. http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewforum&f=234

It needs the path to your installed version of JBoss. For example on Linux it might look like "/usr/local/jboss-4.0.3" .
