When I am marshaling to XML with JAXB, is there a way I can use JAXB to affect the output in such a way that certain tags are folded up into xincludes?

Also, is this something that I can (or should) be using JAXB for or not? Perhaps there is another tool I should be using instead to in-effect post-process the XML after it is marshaled.

(Of course, during unmarshaling, the xincludes are handled automatically since they are expanded before the XML schema validation occurs).

I decided to use an XSLT transformation after marshaling to "fold-up" my desired xincludes - unless anyone has any better ideas.

(I'm using the multiple document output feature of XSLT 2.0 (ie: xsl:result-document) to achieve this).
