unmarshaller not using our customized class

Hi,

We (incidentally) just switched from generateValueClass=false to generateValueClass=true, and are now having trouble with the unmarshaller.

Assuming the bare minimum setup:

Xml:

Generated class: Foo

Custom class: MyFoo extends Foo

Binding file entry:

Whereas before the unmarshaller was correctly instantiating MyFoo, now when presented with it creates a Foo.class rather than MyFoo.class.

Any ideas as to why this could be happening now?

Thanks,
Steve

Do you really think this is a bug? I thought it might be just somthing I was not understanding or missing...

Yes, it sounds like a bug to me.
But mostly, I wanted to see the problem myself, so that's why I asked to file an issue (hopefully with a test case!)
