The full StackTrace is as follows at the bottom of this post..

This is with b55 on Win2000 with IE 6.0, with b51 the error was FilePermissionError (I am not sure exactly but it was saying something abt File Read...)

To reproduce
1) Visit http://atlas.lsu.edu/doqq2004/ (Why are there so many straight lines overlaid on the map? It doesn't happen with 1.5_04 or 1.5_05...)
2) Click any parish in Louisiana
3) See the error in the console

On another note why are seeing so many logging messages in the console?

This doesn't occur in 1.5_04 or 1.5_05

This has been fixed.

But the applet appears to be smooth in 1.5_05 compared to b57, i.e with no jagged lines.

Thanks

Hello,

We'll take a look at this.

Have you seen any problems with previous mustang builds?

AFAIK, b57 is the first one where it is displayed right... I only started testing from b51 or so I don't know about anything previous to that! On b51 I got a FilePermission error if I recall it right.

Thanks in advance

hmm. I'm confused. So does it look right or wrong with 57?

Could you please take a screenshot and send it to me?

I have sent 2 jpg files to the email listed in your profile.

Thanks

Thanks, got them. So I'm assuming the lines that go to the top left corner aren't right, correct?

Correct. The same applet has no problems on 1.5_04/05. I hope you guys have added these to your regression test suite.

Thanks in advance

OK, thanks. I've filed:
6343431: Regression: rendering artifacts in DOQQ applet

Should appear on bugs.sun.com in a couple of days.

Thanks,
