mscapi.jar is left in jre\lib\ext after uninstall of Mustang JDK
If you mean "sunmscapi.jar" then you are correct: the
uninstaller doesn't remove it correctly from the extensions

I get this problem with b55.
This will be fixed in b60.
I'm not finding this file in our JDK installs. I'm suspecting that some other install has placed this in the extensions folder of the JDK?
Can you run 'jar tf' on this file and see what kind of class files are in it? That might give us some hints as to where it is coming from.
mscapi.jar is a java wrapper of the
windows security API.
This lib was created by
IBM and is used a least in Websphere.
