API docs packaging - why doc not docs directory?

JDK documentation has been until now always packaged to be contained in a "docs" subdirectory. Some tools (like Netbeans Platform manager) even expect to find this directory in the JDK installation when looking for documentation.

Why is Mustang API documentation packaged in "doc" directory, not in "docs"? Can you change it back to docs so we don't have to rename?

We have fixed this now. You should see the "docs" directory when you install the javadoc bundle now.

Thanks,
Vijayan.

It looks like the problem is in the click wrap installer
for mustang. I have asked the docs people to fix it.

Thanks,
Bino.
